George Downing 
George was born in 1552 in Beccles, Suffolk, England. George's father was George Downing and his mother was Elizabeth Cecil. His maternal grandparents were Richard Cecil and Jane Heckington. He had two brothers and a sister, named Barnaby, William and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 58 on October 3rd, 1610 in St. Nicholas, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.-
