Elmer Towny Dodd 
Elmer Towny was born in October 1893 in Henderson Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1920. Elmer Towny's father was Robert Adkins 'Sam' Dodd and his mother was Moriah Marian Cary. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Harrison Cary and Polly. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Hubard, Sam Houston, Joe Griffin, Mackie, Robert Theron, Otis, Carie Ester, Lela Elizabeth and Infant. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 68 on August 22nd, 1962.General Notes
