Griffin "Griff" Dobyns 
Griffin "Griff" was born on September 29th, 1870 in Bedford Co, Va. Griffin "Griff"'s father was Colita "Colity" Whitfield ("Whitfield Dobyns" "Whit" Dobyns) Dobyns and his mother was Julia Ann Tellitha ("Juliann") Martin. His maternal grandparents were William Joseph Martin and Elinor "Elender" Ellis. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Whitfield, "Clyde", Allen Lee, Josephus Samuel Silas, Elizabeth "Betty" D. and Karion (Keron) Louella Ellen. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 62 on December 24th, 1932 in Bedford Co, Va. He was buried in Bedford Co, Va.General Notes
