Colear Colita Ellis ("Clyde") Dobyns 
Colear Colita Ellis, known as "Clyde", was born on December 13th, 1867 in Bedford Co, Va. "Clyde"'s father was Colita "Colity" Whitfield ("Whitfield Dobyns" "Whit" Dobyns) Dobyns and his mother was Julia Ann Tellitha ("Juliann") Martin. His maternal grandparents were William Joseph Martin and Elinor "Elender" Ellis. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Whitfield, Allen Lee, Griffin "Griff", Josephus Samuel Silas, Elizabeth "Betty" D. and Karion (Keron) Louella Ellen. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 on February 16th, 1931 in Otter Hill, Bedford Co, Virginia. He was buried in Otter Hill, Bedford Co, Virginia.General Notes
