William Alva Dewhitt 
William Alva was born on November 20th, 1901 in KS and his baptism took place in Census 1930.1 William Alva's father was Joseph Henry Dewhitt and his mother was Mary Louella McLean. His paternal grandparents were William Ashbury Dewhitt and Lydia Anna Wall. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Everett Lavern, Joseph Paul, George, Stanley Orlando, Charles Stewart, Mabel Lydia, Gladys Alvina, Inez Claudia, Ruth Luella, Lena Letha and Norma Jean. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 66 on May 16th, 1968 in Portland, Multnomah Co, OR.1 General Notes
