Fulk, known as The Young, was born in 1093 in Anjou, France.1  The Young's father was Count, King of Jerusalem Fulk (The Rude) D'Anjou IV and his mother was Bertrade De Montfort.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Martel of Gatinois II and Ermengarde (Blanche) D'Anjou; his maternal grandparents were Simon de Montfort I and Agnes Evereaux. He had two brothers and a sister, named Ivo, Martel and Ermengarde.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had two half-sisters named Ermengarde and Cecile.  He died at the age of 50 on November 10th, 1143 in Jerusalem.1
