Martha Cary

Martha was born in 1686 in Skiffs Creek, Warwick, Virginia. Martha's father was Lt. Col. William Cary and her mother was Martha Scarisbrook. Her maternal grandparents were Lt. Col. John Scarisbrook and Mary Martiau. She had four brothers and a sister, named Harwood, Major Miles, William, John and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 52 in 1738 in Jamestown, James City, Virginia.
