Herbert Clay Cary 
Herbert Clay was born on March 31st, 1881 in Henderson Co, TN. Herbert Clay's father was James Monroe Cary and his mother was Cynthia Jane Akin. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Harrison Cary and Polly. He had a brother and five sisters, named Walter Luther C., Laura Antinet, Dora Rosabelle, Addie V., Martha Lou Ella and Tye Recie. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 42 on February 8th, 1924 in Detroit, Wayne Co, MI. He was buried on February 13th, 1924 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson Co, TN.General Notes
