Edna Lee was born on December 5th, 1925 in Troy, Johnston Co. OK. Edna Lee's father was Jess CORDELL and her mother was Pearl CLEMENT. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel CLEMENT and Margaret Tennessee SMITH. She had two brothers named Jerry "Little Sam" and Jess Cecil. She died at the age of 78 on January 17th, 2004 in Tecumseh, Pottawatomie Co. OK. She was buried in Cummings Cemetery, Maud, Pottawatomie Co. OK.General Notes

EDNA LEE DAHL - Maud resident, Edna Lee Dahl, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 17, at her home. Surviving relatives include her husband, L. J. Dahl of the home; a son, Richard Snyder and wife Norma of Midwest City; a daughter, Peggy Merriman and husband Carl Leon of Moore; five brothers, Jess Cordell of Oklahoma City, Earl Dean Cordell and wife Mary of Montgomery, AL; Jerry Cordell and wife Sharon of Sulphur; Delbert Cordell and wife Geraldine of Oklahoma City; andJames Cordell and wife Billie of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Joe Merriman and wife Shelly of Oklahoma City; Marcus Welch and wife Patricia of Okemah; and Kevin Merriman of Moore; and one great-granddaughter, Madison Elizabeth Merriman of Oklahoma City. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cummings Cemetery in Maud with Karen Smith, hospice chaplain officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud.
