Ruth Jemima Brooks 
Ruth Jemima was born on August 20th, 1868 and her baptism took place in Census 1880.1 Ruth Jemima's father was Nathan Turpin Brooks and her mother was Mary Rebecca Grant. Her maternal grandparents were Archibald Grant and Lydia Roberts. She had a brother named Milton Grant. She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Thomas F., Roxanne, Almeda and Lydia.1 General Notes
