2nd Lt. Maury D. Box 
Maury D. was born on October 10th, 1923 in Corinth, Alcorn Co, MS and his baptism took place in Military. Maury D.'s father was Victor Monroe Box and his mother was Emma Bell Goforth. His maternal grandparents were John Powers Goforth and Sarah Florence Ledford. He had two brothers named Gene and Reid M.. He died at the age of 21 on April 3rd, 1945 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was buried on January 22nd, 1949 in Henry Cemetery, Corinth, Alcorn Co, MS.General Notes
