Balzora Catherine was born in 1881. Balzora Catherine's father was Robert Alexander Blevins and her mother was Eliza Jane Carter. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Price Blevins and Delila Mary Polly Spears. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Andrew J, John Abe, William Sherman, Mary Elizabeth, Sarah Ellen, Malinda Isabelle, Lue Wilmerth and Columbus. She was the second oldest of the nine children.-
