Adam Banastre 
Adam was born in 1272 in Bretherton, Lancashire, England.1 Adam's father was Thomas Banastre and his mother was Joan de Singleton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Banastre and Alice Woodcock; his maternal grandparents were John de Singleton and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died by execution, beheaded, at the age of 42 in 1314 in Duxbury, England.2 General Notes
