John BUCKLES 
John was born on November 6th, 1846 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 John's father was Aaron Buckles and his mother was Rachel MERIT. His paternal grandparents were John Buckles and Frances Wallingford. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Augustine Gustavus, Joseph M., James Merit, D. Ephraim, Aaron, Henry F., Sophia and Susannah. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Asa W., Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 76 on April 15th, 1923 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 -
