D. Ephraim BUCKLES 
D. Ephraim was born on January 7th, 1849 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 D. Ephraim's father was Aaron Buckles and his mother was Rachel MERIT. His paternal grandparents were John Buckles and Frances Wallingford. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Augustine Gustavus, Joseph M., James Merit, John, Aaron, Henry F., Sophia and Susannah. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Asa W., Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 56 on January 30th, 1905 in Hardin Co., Kentucky. He was buried in St. John's Cemetery.1 1 -
