James BROWNING

James was born in 1799 in Kentucky. James' father was Edmund Woodville BROWNING and his mother was ???? (Mrs. Edmund Woodville) BROWNING. His paternal grandparents were Joshua BROWNING Sr. and Nancy Anne SCOTT. He had three brothers and a sister, named Allen, Isaac, John Samuel and Nancy. He was the oldest of the five children.
