Ruth Ellen's father was Ralph Preston Andrews and her mother was Recie D. Crawford. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Weldon Andrews and Robena Ann Tilley. She had two brothers and a sister, named Ralph Preston, Samuel W. 'Sammie' and Frances Preston.General Notes
