Roxie Ermine was born on March 29th, 1898 in LaRue County, Ky. Roxie Ermine's father was Elijah B. 'Bee' Allen and her mother was Mary Jane Underwood. Her maternal grandparents were George W. Underwood and Julia A. Hazelwood. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Leander 'Lee' A., Orville K., William Curtis, Lucinda, Nellie Mae and Cassie Truman. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named Chris Uriah 'Bud'. She died at the age of 70 on August 6th, 1968 in Nashville, Davidson Co, TN, in car accident on way to FL to see gchildren. She was buried in Louisville, KY.-
