Bessie Lee Adair 
Bessie Lee was born on March 3rd, 1890 in White Co, TN. Bessie Lee's father was James W. 'Jim' Adair and her mother was Martha L. Simmons. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas M. Adair and Martha Simmons; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson 'Jack' Simmons and Canzantia A. 'Canzada' Stipe. She had a brother and two sisters, named Foster Lee, Effie and Lou. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 92 on April 5th, 1982 in Quebeck, White Co, TN. She was buried in Skurlock Cemetery, Doyle, White Co, TN.General Notes
