George was born in 1734 and his baptism took place on April 10th, 1734 in Silkstone. George's father was Richard Senior and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were John Senior (of Silkston) and Martha Biltcliff. He had a brother named George.  He was the younger of the two children.
