Jane was born in 1634 and her baptism took place on December 21st, 1634 in Lodsworth.1   Jane's father was Mathew Steere and her mother is Joane Lee.  Her paternal grandfather was Mathew Steare and her paternal grandmother is Mary Bridger. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Mathew, Nicholas, Joane, Mary, Mary, Margarett and Elizabeth.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  Jane is no longer alive.
