Caroline was born in 1820 and her baptism took place on July 30th, 1820 in Rudgwick, Sussex.1   Caroline's father is Richard Steere and her mother is Mary steer. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Richard, James, William, Alfred, Richard, Mary, Sarah, Ann, Amelia, Mary and Eunice.  She was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children.  Caroline is no longer alive.
