Jesse Steer

Jesse was born in 1840 in Petworth and his baptism took place there on September 12th, 1840.¹²

Jesse's father was Thomas Steer and his mother was Sarah steer. He had six brothers and six sisters, named John, David, Frederick, James, Edwin, Thomas, Mary, Dinah, Emily, Caroline, Ellen and Charlotte. Edwin and Jesse were twins. He died at the age of 28 in 1868. His burial was on February 8th, 1868 in Petworth.³
