Eunice was born in 1888 in Croydon Surrey.1  Eunice's father was Reuben Steer and her mother was Anna Horn.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Steer and Ann Mariner. She had two sisters named Lois and Ethel.  She was the youngest of the three children.
