Anne was born in 1882 in Billingshurst.1  Anne's father was Clement Steer and her mother was Susan Steer.  Her paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and her paternal grandmother was Eliza Steer; her maternal grandparents were George Steer and Charlotte. She had a brother named Albert.  She was the younger of the two children.
