William was born in 1660 in Lodsworth and his baptism took place there on August 29th, 1660.1   William's father was Elias Steare and his mother is <Unknown>.  His paternal grandfather was Mathew Steare and his paternal grandmother is Mary Bridger. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ellias, Susand and Jane.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  William is no longer alive.
