Charlotte was born in 1859 in Billingshurst.1  Charlotte's father is Samuel Brooker and her mother was Eliza Steer.  Her maternal grandparents were William Steer and Emily (Imlen). She had a brother named James.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Clement, Caroline, Ann and Mary.  Charlotte is no longer alive.
