Henry was born in 1844. Henry's father was Rev John Thomas Waterhouse and his mother was Eleanor Dickenson.  His paternal grandparents were Rev John Waterhouse and Jane Beadnell Skipsey. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, William, William, Ellen, Emma, Mary and Mary.  He died at the age of 60 on February 20th, 1904.
