Sally was born in 1797 and her baptism took place on June 4th, 1797 in St Matthew`s Church, Hayfield.1  Sally's father was Samuel Turner and her mother was Mary Wyatt.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Turner and Leah. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, George and Hannah.  She was the second youngest of the four children.
