Sarah Simpson

Sarah's father was William Simpson and her mother was Rebekah Rack.  Her paternal grandparents were William Simpson and Rachel; her maternal grandparents were William Rack (of Brocklesby) and Sarah Mumby (of Keelby). She had four brothers and four sisters, named George, James, John, George, Rachel, Rebecca, Diana and Jane.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother named Thomas.  She died at the age of 41 in 1863 in Drainie, Moray, Scotland.¹
