Agnes was born on October 15th, 1796 in Whitkirk, Yorkshire and her baptism took place there on November 10th, 1796.1   Agnes' father was John Pickersgill and her mother was Sarah Jagger.  Her paternal grandparents were George Pickersgill and Elisabeth Prince. She had three sisters named Mary, Catherine and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 9 in 1805.  The funeral took place on June 30th, 1805.1
