William James Leslie

William was born on August 24th, 1863.¹   William's father was William Elgar Leslie and his mother was Frances West Baldwin.  His paternal grandparents were John Leslie and Elizabeth ?Ashcroft; his maternal grandparents were William Baldwin and Ann West. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, John, Walter, Frances, Elizabeth, Mary, Eliza, Hannah and Edith.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 81 on January 27th, 1945.¹
