Clara was born in 1865 in Shoreditch, Middlesex.¹

Birth Notes

Clara's father was David Jenkins and her mother was Frances (Fanny) Sarah Wood. Her paternal grandparents were John (James) Jenkins and Jane Morgan (of Shoreditch); her maternal grandparents were George Wood and Sophia Eliza Otway David (W Ham). She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Henry, Walter, Arthur, David, Helen and Jane. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 79 on November 17th, 1944.
