THOMAS was born in 1715 and his baptism took place on February 19th, 1715 in Seend, Wiltshire, England.  THOMAS' father was Joseph Gipson and his mother was Anne. He had three brothers named James, JOHN and WILLIAM.  He was the youngest of the four children.
