JOHN was born in 1713 and his baptism took place on December 25th, 1713 in Seend, Wiltshire, England.  JOHN's father was Joseph Gipson and his mother was Anne. He had three brothers named James, WILLIAM and THOMAS.  He was the second oldest of the four children.
