Jane was born in 1799 in Sible Hedingham, Essex and her baptism took place there on August 31st, 1799.1 2   Jane's father was William Everett and her mother was Mary Argent. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Joseph, John, William, Joseph, Mary, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth and Lydia.  She was the second youngest of the eleven children.
