Sarah (Trot) Baron Curnock

Sarah, known as Trot, was born on August 5th, 1852 in Oldbury/Dudley, Warwickshire/Worcester.

Birth Notes
- age 8 1861 census

Trot's father was George Curnock and her mother was Mary Strickland. Her paternal grandparents were Dennis Curnock and Ann Edgley Hopkins; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Strickland and Sarah Mardon. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Stanley, George, Wesley, Annie, Minnie and Nellie. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died due to a medical problem, ruptured amoebic abscess of liver, at the age of 42 on July 4th, 1895 in West Norwood.

Trot's family

Trot and George William were married in a religious ceremony on November 28th, 1877. They had three sons and four daughters, named Stanley, Albert Ernest, George Curnock, Kathleen, Muriel, Edith Nuttall and Dorothy.
