Margaret was born in 1826 and her baptism took place on December 7th, 1826 in Kirkby cum Osgodby.^1 2

Margaret's father was William Bainbridge and her mother was Sarah Quickfall.  Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Quickfall and Elizabeth. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Samuel, Edward, John, John, Francis, Ann, Sarah, Helen, Hannah and Jane.  She was the second oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 15 in 1841.
