Gudrun was born in 1926.  Gudrun's father was Anton Aas and her mother was Aminde Hansdatter Bjørsnøs Aas.  Her paternal grandparents were Andreas Gunderson Kjørsvik Aas and Gurianna Skarsbø Aas; her maternal grandparents were Hans Årsbo and Karen Storvik. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, Jalmar, Angel, Aase, Gudbjørg, Solvei and Kaspara.  She died by stillbirth or at birth in 1926.
