  • Widow of John Leeke
    John Kirton (or Kyrton) Esq. of Edmonton, Middlesex was a lawyer, and Burgess for Southwark, Surrey, England. He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1468. In 1470 he was attorney for Elizabeth, Lady Harrington; in 1499 he was attorney for John, Lord Dinham. He was Justice of the Peace for Surrey 1502-1530, and for Middlesex 1515-1530;
    Burgess for Southwark, Surrey 1491-1492.
    He served as executor for Nicholas Gainsford, Esq. in 1497. He was feoffee for John Emley, the King's attorney in 1511; and for Sir Robert Reade, Chief Justice of the Common Please, in 1512.
