  • James subsequently remarried in 1606 to Elizabeth Morley, the DAUGHTER of Sir John Morley, Knight, of Halfnaked, co. Sussex, at St. Giles Cripplegate in London, with whom he also had no children.
    
    James was knighted at Windsor in 1618, but a few months
    later his wife, now Dame Elizabeth died in London and was buried at St. Bottoplh's. Sir James retired to Somerset, and served there as Justice of the Peace during 1619-20, but died in 1620 and was buried at Easton, co. Wilts.. He left a very comprehensive and detailed will which identifies details about many of his relatives.
