Grace KIRTON

Grace was born about 1384. Grace's father was Alan de KIRKETON and her mother is Grace Copledyke. Her paternal grandparents were Alan de KIRKETON Biddenham and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and a sister, named Edmund, Stephen, Thomas, John and Joan. She had two half-brothers named John and William.

General Notes
- Alan(2) had a second family which consisted of: Stephen Kirton of Wooton, Wilts.
  There were at least two more children in Alan(2)'s second family, a Thomas and a daughter Grace who was still alive in 1489 when Thomas wrote his will,

  I too am allied with this family, but have been singularly unsuccessful in locating information about them. I don't even have dates for my Alan, but his daughter Grace, heiress of Kirton Manor, married Richard Boteler who occurs in 1405.

  of London 1515-16. Could we be talking about the same Alan? I have a note that he also had a son Thomas, but I don't know anything about
  
  Thomas, escheator in London, will written 1489, bequest to Biddenham Church, mentions his sister Grace(4), then still alive. died s.p. in 1490
  Grace(4) youngest daughter, still alive when brother,Thomas wrote his
  will in 1489.
