Absolom KIRTON (Bristol)

  • Rev. Absalom (sic) Kirton, B.A., M.A., [Lincoln College, Oxford] Son of Edward, son of Richard, son of John; married Ann Green of Bristol in 1693, and had an eldest son, Thomas, bap. 1695. By 1697 had become the Rector of Wanstrow, Somerset. I think he  subsequently had two or three more children, as recorded in the Wanstrow register.
    For the son Thomas, I think I can remember that I found a record of him serving an apprenticeship in Bristol. Thats all
