    WILLIAM EDWARD KERTON was born 4 April 1852 in Burnham, Somerset, and died 17 December 1898 in Blaenavon Steel Works, South Wales.  He married ELIZABETH (ELIZA) MORGAN December 1871 in Pontypool.  She was born 1853 in Plymouth, and died 1 March 1930 in Blaenavon, South Wales.
    
    In loving memory of William Edward Kerton of this town
    who met his death at > the Steel Works Dec 17th 1898 aged 46yrs. 
    Also Elizabeth his wife died Jan 3rd 1930 aged 77yrs

    Accidental death crushed by fall of an ingot and mould - instantaneous
    Inquest held December 30th 1897
    
    "In loving memory of Richard s/o Edward & Eliza Kerton of Blaenavon died April
    6th 1884 aged 9yrs. Also Benjamin their son died June 1 1885 aged 1 yr."
