    I too am allied with this family, but have been singularly unsuccessful in locating information about them. I don't even have dates for my Alan, but his daughter Grace, heiress of Kirton Manor, married Richard Boteler who occurs in 1405. Their son was Sir William Boteler who was Lord Mayor
    of London 1515-16. Could we be talking about the same Alan? I have a note that he also had a son Thomas, but I don't know anything about
