    Thomas Kirton of Leadenham, yeoman.
    Pious bequests to church of Leadenham and elsewhere. 3s. to the maintenance of a watering place at the south end of Leadenham called Saincte Anne Well.
    3s. to the digging of stone for the filling up of a causey of the east side of the town leading to the church.
    Bequests of sheep to relatives.
    To wife Agnes for term of her life the messuage with appurtenances wherein he dwells in Leadenham, with all lands, meadows and pastures belonging to the same; one messuage in the holding of William Greene and all the land, meadow and pasture belonging to the same, which he has in occupation; and the rent of one messuage with appurtenances in Leadenham in the occupation of Thomas Clarke; and pasture of two horses in the great close; and £3.18s. 6d. yearly going out of all such lands, tenements, and hereditaments as testator's son William Kirton shall have from testator in the townships of Leadenham, Fulbeck and Stubton yearly during her life; and also "one shodd wayne" with all things necessary for occupying the same, and two oxen and one horse; and also one plough with all things belonging to it, and two kine: and all such corn as shall serve to sow the land of this house for one year: and also the third part of all testator's swine; and so much corn as shall reasonably serve her house till new come.
    To son John Kirton one messuage in Leadenham called Winbushe house with the appurtenances, of the yearly rent of 26s. 8d., and one chief rent of 6s. a year out of one messuage in Leadenham of John Fisher, on cottage in the holding of Richard Abbott, one close lying upon the south side of the said cottage with certain land and meadow of the yearly rent of 8s. 8d. And one piece of meadow in West Hills of 14 gadds containing 3ac. of the yearly rent of 4s.; and four arable lands butting on the town of Leadenham against the east. To John Kirton and his heirs male.
    To youngest son Thomas Kirton and his heirs male one messuage with appurtenances in Leadenham now in the tenure of Peter Penystone, of the yearly rent of 20s., and one other messuage there now in the holding of William Person, of the yearly rent of 10s.
    To his three daughters Helen, Elizabeth and Jane Kirton £25 each at lawful age or marriage. To youngest daughter Jane two kie in addition.
    To son William Kirton a goblet with a cover of silver and six silver spoons with the apostles at the ends.
    His son William and his heirs to keep an obit in the church of Leadenham of 10s. a year for souls of testator and his father and mother from one messuage in Leadenham, so long as the laws of the realm shall allow such obits.
    To wife Agnes all "mye uphoulster stuffe" and the third part of all the goods in his house and all such plate as she had before her marriage, and such horses as she has commonly used, and such money as she hath.
    Residue of goods and chattels to son William, whom he makes executor.
