      Nikolaus VON WIELLIGH kom van Hamburg. Hy het as assistent met Kolbe na die Kaap gekom. Hy was 'n soldaat van 1705 - 1708. Hy trou 21 Augustus 1718 met Elisabeth VAN WYK. Hy trou die tweede keer 3 Mei 1722 met Adriana VAN DAM dogter van Abraham Pietersz van Dam en Catharina Smits. Hy trou die derde keer 4 Maart 1725 met Maria CLEEF, dogter van Nikolaas Cleef en Barbara le Febre.

      Elisabeth van Wyk het nog twee ander kinders gehad - Willem van Dyk gedoop 21 Jan 1701, die vader was Joost Pietersz van Dyk. Asook - Christina Matthysen gebore c 1700 vader is onbekend.
      
      Von Wielligh was aangestel in 1753 as die koster van die Swartland se Kerk. Von Wielligh en die voorige koster Wietse Botes was goeie vriende. Von Wielligh het te veel drank gedrink in in 1766 het die kerkraad ook vir beide Botes en von Wielligh vermaan omdat hulle op Sondae by die Kerk drank verkoop het.

    Die Beukes stamvader, Jan Beukes, kom in 1696 van Ottmarsbocholt as soldaat na die Kaap. In 1710 is hy opgeteken as burger en landbouer van Stellenbosch en gaan dan ook hier die huwelik met Jacomina Visser aan.
