Yehudah, known as ha-Gadol, was born in 1750.  Ha-Gadol's father was Rabbi Yehudah ha-Sarfati (ha-richon) and his mother was ?.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 80 in 1830 in Marrakech, Morocco.1
