Živka was born in 1883.  Živka's father was Stjepan Farszky and her mother was Adela Potz (Farszky).  Her maternal grandparents were Johann Janko Potz and Ana Karlić. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Niko, Ivo, Vlado, Viktor, Marijan, Veljko, Štefka, Anka, Romana, Marija and Tekla.  She died at the age of 2 in 1885.
