Marijan was born on December 8th, 1902.  Marijan's father was Stjepan Farszky and his mother was Adela Potz (Farszky).  His maternal grandparents were Johann Janko Potz and Ana Karlić. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Niko, Ivo, Vlado, Viktor, Veljko, Živka, Štefka, Anka, Romana, Marija and Tekla.  He died at the age of 78 on March 7th, 1981.
